Equipment Use and Liability Waiver

EQUIPMENT USE & LIABILITY WAIVER

Effective Date: June 26, 2026

By booking services, accepting delivery, or using equipment provided by Baby Ready Travel, guests acknowledge and agree to the following:

The individual making the reservation and agreeing to this waiver must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. By completing a booking, the renter represents and warrants that they are at least 18 years old and authorized to accept responsibility for all rented equipment.

Guests voluntarily request and use baby and toddler equipment provided by Baby Ready Travel, including but not limited to cribs, mattresses, crib sheets, play yards, blackout sleep tents, bed bumpers, high chairs, booster seats, bathtubs, step stools, white noise machines, night lights, and related accessories.

All equipment provided by Baby Ready Travel requires active adult supervision at all times.

No equipment provided by Baby Ready Travel replaces proper parental, guardian, or caregiver supervision.

Guests agree to follow all manufacturer instructions, age requirements, weight limits, height limits, warnings, and safety recommendations associated with the equipment provided.

All Baby Ready Travel equipment is intended for indoor use only within the designated rental property. Equipment may not be used outdoors, on patios, balconies, pool decks, garages, driveways, beaches, yards, vehicles, or any other exterior location.

Guests assume responsibility for any damage, injury, loss, or equipment deterioration resulting from outdoor use or use outside the intended environment.

Guests agree not to move, alter, disassemble, reassemble, modify, relocate, or otherwise change any equipment after delivery and setup.

Any equipment that has been moved, altered, relocated, disassembled, reassembled, or modified after setup is used entirely at the guest's own risk.

Baby Ready Travel cannot guarantee the safety, stability, or integrity of equipment that has been moved, altered, or modified after setup.

Only Baby Ready Travel personnel may install, position, adjust, remove, or reinstall equipment.

Guests, property staff, housekeeping personnel, maintenance personnel, and other third parties are not authorized to modify or reinstall equipment on behalf of Baby Ready Travel.

Guests agree to inspect all equipment upon delivery and notify Baby Ready Travel immediately of any visible damage, missing components, safety concerns, or defects before use.

If any equipment becomes damaged, unstable, broken, defective, or appears unsafe during the reservation period, guests agree to discontinue use immediately and notify Baby Ready Travel.

Guests acknowledge responsibility for following current safe sleep recommendations and manufacturer guidelines while using any sleep-related equipment.

No child may use Baby Ready Travel equipment while under the supervision of any individual impaired by alcohol, illegal drugs, marijuana, prescription medication causing impairment, or any other substance that may affect judgment, awareness, reaction time, or the ability to safely supervise a child.

Baby Ready Travel does not own, manage, inspect, or control the vacation rental property and makes no representations regarding the safety, condition, or suitability of the property itself.

Guests agree to promptly notify Baby Ready Travel of any loss, theft, damage, contamination, bodily fluid exposure, smoke exposure, pest exposure, mold exposure, injury, or incident involving rented equipment.

Guests understand that baby and toddler equipment carries inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, entrapment, drowning, injury, illness, allergic reactions, equipment failure, misuse, and other risks that may result in bodily injury or death.

Guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of Baby Ready Travel equipment.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, guests release, waive, and discharge Baby Ready Travel, its owners, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates from any claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, injuries, expenses, or liabilities arising from or related to the use or misuse of rented equipment, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Baby Ready Travel from any claims, damages, costs, attorney fees, expenses, or liabilities arising from the use of the equipment, misuse of the equipment, failure to supervise children, violation of manufacturer guidelines, or breach of this agreement.

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.

Electronic acceptance of this waiver, including acceptance through an online booking platform, website, payment platform, or electronic checkbox acknowledgment, shall be deemed the legal equivalent of a handwritten signature and shall be fully enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

By submitting a booking request, accepting delivery, completing payment, or using equipment provided by Baby Ready Travel, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Equipment Use & Liability Waiver.
