Booking, Cancellation & Equipment Policies
Cancellation Policy
• All refunds and cancellation calculations are based on the total purchase price, including package selections, add-on products, delivery fees, and additional rental days.
• Cancellations made 7 or more calendar days prior to arrival will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made within 3–6 calendar days of arrival will receive a refund equal to 50% of the total purchase price.
• Cancellations made within 2 calendar days of arrival are non-refundable due to preparation, scheduling, staffing, and reserved inventory.
• If a guest shortens their stay after setup has been completed, no partial refunds will be issued.
• Baby Ready Travel reserves the right to cancel services due to unsafe conditions, severe weather, property access issues, inventory limitations, or unforeseen operational circumstances. In these situations, guests will receive a full refund.
Property Access & Delivery Coordination
• Guests are responsible for ensuring Baby Ready Travel has authorized property access for scheduled delivery, setup, and pickup windows.
• Delays, denied access, incorrect entry information, gated community restrictions, inability to access the property, or last-minute property changes may impact services and may not qualify for refunds.
• Delivery and pickup windows are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, scheduling logistics, property access delays, or unforeseen operational circumstances.
Damage, Missing Items & Replacement Policy
• Guests are responsible for maintaining all Baby Ready Travel items in reasonable condition during use.
• Any damaged, excessively soiled, lost, or missing items may result in additional replacement or cleaning charges.
• Minor normal wear associated with family travel is expected and understood.
• Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, improper assembly/disassembly by guests, pet damage, smoking exposure, unauthorized relocation of equipment, bodily fluids, mold exposure, pest exposure, or conditions requiring excessive sanitation may result in additional charges.
• Guests should not disassemble, move, alter, or attempt to reassemble Baby Ready Travel equipment unless specifically instructed to do so.
• Baby Ready Travel is not responsible for equipment safety or installation integrity after products have been moved, altered, disassembled, reassembled, or modified by guests or third parties following delivery.
• Baby Ready Travel reserves the right to document inventory and equipment condition before and after each reservation.
• Guests are asked to notify Baby Ready Travel immediately if an item becomes damaged or unsafe during their stay.
• Determination of damage, excessive cleaning, restoration, replacement needs, and associated charges shall remain at the discretion of Baby Ready Travel based on the condition and quantity of affected items.
Safety Disclaimer, Equipment Restrictions & Terms of Use
Proper Use of Equipment
All baby equipment and products provided by Baby Ready Travel must be used only for their intended manufacturer-approved purpose and according to standard safety guidelines.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Full-size cribs
• Folding cribs
• High chairs
• Playpens
• Bed rails
• Booster seats
• Baby/toddler bathtubs
• Audio monitors
• Night lights
• Play mats
• Other comfort and safety-related baby equipment
Guests are responsible for using all items safely, appropriately, and under proper adult supervision at all times.
Indoor Use Restrictions
All rented items are intended for indoor use only within the designated short-term rental property. Equipment may not be used outdoors or moved to patios, balconies, pool areas, beaches, yards, garages, or vehicles.
Guests assume responsibility for any damage caused by exposure to outdoor elements, including but not limited to rust, mold, water damage, structural deterioration, or excessive environmental wear.
Manufacturer Age, Weight, and Height Requirements
Guests acknowledge that all juvenile equipment is subject to manufacturer-provided age, height, and weight limitations designed to reduce the risk of injury, tip-over hazards, drowning, entrapment, or equipment failure.
It is the guest’s sole responsibility to ensure each item is appropriate for their child’s size, age, and developmental stage. Baby Ready Travel shall not be liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from misuse or use outside manufacturer guidelines.
Booster Seat Restrictions
Booster seats provided by Baby Ready Travel are intended solely for supervised meal-time use when properly secured to a standard adult dining chair.
Booster seats may not be used as vehicle restraints, car seats, sleeping devices, elevated play seats, or unsupervised floor seats.
Infant and Toddler Bathtub Safety
Guests understand that infant and toddler bathtubs involve an inherent drowning risk. A responsible adult must remain within arm’s reach and maintain continuous, uninterrupted supervision whenever a child is in or near the bathtub.
Baby Ready Travel shall not be responsible for water-related injuries, slips, falls, or accidents occurring during use.
Safe Sleep & Bedding Disclaimer
Guests agree to follow current safe sleep recommendations and manufacturer guidelines while using all sleep-related equipment.
Pillows, loose blankets, sleep positioners, infant loungers, stuffed animals, additional mattresses, or unapproved padding should not be placed inside cribs or sleep spaces.
Baby Ready Travel is not responsible for unsafe sleep practices, improper bedding use, co-sleeping arrangements, or modifications made to sleep environments after setup and delivery.
Audio Monitor Disclaimer
Audio monitors provided by Baby Ready Travel are convenience devices only and are not guaranteed life-safety monitoring systems.
Guests remain fully responsible for supervising children at all times and should not rely solely on monitoring devices for child safety.
Baby Ready Travel shall not be liable for connectivity interruptions, battery failure, signal interference, user error, Wi-Fi limitations, or monitoring disruptions.
Post-Delivery Equipment Modification
Guests may not alter, move, disassemble, reassemble, or modify installed equipment after delivery and setup.
This includes adjusting crib components, removing safety straps, repositioning bed rails, or relocating equipment within or outside the property.
Baby Ready Travel shall not be responsible for equipment safety, stability, or proper installation after equipment has been moved, altered, modified, or reassembled by guests or third parties.
Food Allergen Disclaimer
Baby Ready Travel follows detailed sanitization procedures between reservations using baby-safe and non-toxic cleaning products. However, because equipment is utilized in a rental environment, Baby Ready Travel cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Potential exposure may include, but is not limited to:
• Peanuts
• Tree nuts
• Dairy
• Gluten
• Other food allergens
Families with severe allergies accept this inherent risk and are encouraged to inspect and wipe down equipment prior to use.
Sanitization Disclaimer
All equipment is cleaned and sanitized between reservations using commercially appropriate cleaning practices. However, Baby Ready Travel does not represent or guarantee that equipment is sterile, medical-grade, or completely free from germs, bacteria, viruses, allergens, or other contaminants.
Prohibited Cleaning Products
To preserve the safety, integrity, and condition of the equipment, guests may not use bleach, abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, essential oils, or heavily scented products on rented items.
If an item becomes soiled, guests should gently clean the affected area using mild soap and water and notify Baby Ready Travel.
Additional restoration, excessive cleaning, or replacement fees may apply if unauthorized products damage fabrics, finishes, safety labels, or equipment materials.
Illness & Biohazard Exposure
Guests agree to notify Baby Ready Travel if rented equipment becomes exposed to contagious illness, bodily fluids, smoke exposure, pests, mold, or other biohazard conditions during the reservation period.
Additional sanitation, restoration, disposal, or replacement fees may apply if specialized cleaning procedures are required before equipment can safely return to service.
Non-Medical Equipment Disclaimer
Baby Ready Travel provides convenience and hospitality-related baby and toddler equipment only.
Products and equipment provided are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, monitor, cure, or prevent any medical condition, developmental concern, disability, or therapeutic need.
Guests are responsible for determining whether rented equipment is appropriate for their child’s individual needs and should consult their pediatrician or healthcare provider when necessary.
Temporary Baby-Proofing Disclaimer
Any optional baby-proofing enhancements, including outlet covers, corner guards, cabinet latches, or similar temporary safety additions, are provided as convenience features only and do not guarantee a fully childproof environment.
Parents and guardians remain solely responsible for assessing environmental safety and supervising children at all times.
Baby Ready Travel does not guarantee that any property is fully baby-proof, childproof, or hazard-free.
Parental Supervision Required
Baby Ready Travel does not provide child supervision, monitoring, or babysitting services.
Parents, guardians, and caregivers are solely responsible for supervising children during the use of all provided equipment and throughout the duration of their stay.
No equipment provided by Baby Ready Travel replaces proper parental supervision or safe parenting practices.
Assumption of Risk
By using Baby Ready Travel services and equipment, guests acknowledge that child-related products carry inherent risks when used improperly, without supervision, or outside intended use.
Guests voluntarily assume full responsibility for the use of all delivered or installed products.
Limitation of Liability
Baby Ready Travel shall not be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, allergic reaction, property damage, misuse, improper installation by guests after delivery, equipment relocation, or death resulting from the use, misuse, movement, alteration, or failure to properly supervise children while using provided equipment.
This includes situations involving:
• Improper product use
• Failure to follow manufacturer recommendations
• Unsafe sleep practices
• Unauthorized equipment relocation
• Failure to provide appropriate adult supervision
• Equipment misuse after delivery
• Environmental hazards within the property
Use of all products and services is at the guest’s own risk.
Refusal of Service
Baby Ready Travel reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or discontinue services for unsafe conditions, inappropriate behavior, inaccessible properties, policy violations, suspected fraud, misuse of equipment, or circumstances that may jeopardize guest safety, staff safety, or business operations.
Force Majeure
Baby Ready Travel shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or service interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, hurricanes, flooding, road closures, natural disasters, power outages, government restrictions, emergencies, labor shortages, transportation interruptions, or other unforeseen events.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and any disputes arising from the use of Baby Ready Travel services shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
By using Baby Ready Travel services, guests agree to attempt to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy through good-faith communication prior to initiating formal legal action.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any unresolved disputes arising out of or relating to Baby Ready Travel services or equipment shall be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the State of Florida.
Insurance & Service Availability
Baby Ready Travel maintains business operations and service practices consistent with applicable business and operational requirements; however, all services, equipment availability, and claims handling remain subject to operational limitations, inventory availability, staffing availability, insurance requirements, and circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted as creating guarantees of uninterrupted service, specific outcomes, or automatic entitlement to compensation or reimbursement.
Acceptance of Terms
By booking services with Baby Ready Travel, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Updates to These Terms
Baby Ready Travel reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time as services evolve and business operations grow. Updated versions will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
